Moving

So we are moving. Not away just to an apartment. Right now we have a four bedroom house and as nice as it is realistically we don't really need all the space. What we really want is to be out in the country, and we know that to do that we are going to have to save up money and right now we get by on bills, but we don't have the means to save. The apartment we are getting is two bedrooms which is plenty, and with rent and electric(the only utility AWESOME) we will be spending less then we do just on rent right now. I'm excited yet nervous. We are used to having a lot of space and a garage. So not only are we moving, but we are also getting rid of a lot of stuff. I know its just stuff, but I struggle with getting rid of anything. Change is good and we are ready for it, but it can also be scary. So the next few weeks of my life are going to be filled with packing blah! But I can look ahead and know that we are doing the right thing. Instead of living paycheck to paycheck we will actually be able to get ahead and stay ahead while saving for our future. Something totally awesome about it is the fact that it it right downtown. We can walk everywhere. We will be right there for the fair, as a matter of fact we will be able to see the stage from our kitchen window. How awesome is that! Totally excited!

My poor kid is sick :( We had a good weekend. Saturday we went to breakfast with Brandy. We went to CoCo Key waterpark in Newark for a few hours that afternoon. It was fun, but there were too many people there. There were too many kids not being watched or disciplined. That was the worst part.

Lee and Megan came over and we played some awesome peanuts, and bull****. It was pretty fun! Lex didn't go to bed til after midnight I think. That should have been my first clue that she didn't feel good. The runny nose started Sunday morning, and all day Sunday she was just not herself. We went to Mansfield becaue I had some couponing to do. Cody and Lex went to the play place. This is Lexi's favorite thing to do. Cody said she went up one time, and they were there at least 45mins. Poor thing.

While they were they I went to WAGS to do my shopping. The women were totally rude, half the stuff that I wanted to buy that was in the sale ad they were out of. I was not pleased. I did get some good deals. I got 5 packs of Huggies Diapers, a pack of Huggies wipes, a Garnier leave in conditioner, and a pack of M&Ms for $12.49! Coupons are awesome! I have to go back later this week to get the rest of the stuff that they were out of. Everything I get then will be free! I love couponing!

Lex is so pitiful right now. I think she has influenza. The boys have it so I just assume that's what she has. She has an appointment at 11:15 lets hope he can give her something. The boys med was $115 I'm hoping there is a cheaper version or our insurance covers most of it. I'll update later in the day.






As I suspected she has influenza. The medicine is expensive lucky for me Mom had an extra bottle, not lucky for me the medicine is making Lex vomit. just wonderful :(

Loving the warmth

It is gorgeous outside today.

The kids and I went to the park. It's amazing how much Lex has grown up. She can do everything at the park by herself. I'm not ready for it. Her and Aaron were hilarious. They went over to the merry go round by themselves. She got on, he pushed, and then jumped on. She says, "Mommy we got a big problem here!" I'm not sure what the problem was, but it was so funny the wasy she said it.

Come fall she will be in school. It's just crazy to me that she is going to be three this summer. What happened to my dependent little baby. Now she is so independent she can do anything that she sets her mind to.

She has learned the I love you more game. Typical conversation, she says, "love you mommy" I say, "love you Lex" "love you more mommy" "Love you more Lexi" "Love you mostest!" She cracks me up! How did I get so lucky to have such an amazing kid!

Ok Brit here goes. I'll start a blog. What am I going to blog about? Probably Lex the most and the shows that I watch. I am addicted to reality TV its bad :) I facebook and myspace way to much. I just started Lost because Brit insists that it is the best show ever. I'm only 5 minutes into the first episode so I have no opinion yet. Lex is crabbin so I'm taking her to bed.
